Jason has always been inspired by everything artistic, from Broadway and architecture, to movies and fine art. Even the simplest of innovations such as stationary design has motivated him to dabble in it. This desire to create new things is influenced by his family. Both his grandfathers were artistic. One was a tailor by trade, but also created his own aloha print designs for fabric. His other grandfather was an inventor who helped develop the first wireless microphone, along with being a proficient oil painter and Jason’s first fine art mentor. His father who is an architect, also helped him develop an appreciation for well-designed buildings which had to be both beautiful and functionally laid out.
Right out of college, Jason and his fiancée Cari started their own business, EnvizArt, LLC., which offered both fine art and design services. For over 12 years, the business, while still being considered young, has evolved. Cari now sells digital and printable products on Etsy while Jason still offers fine art services, but also sells prints through Fine Art America and original artwork through this website.
